# Imperva WAF credentials

You can use these credentials to authenticate when using the [HTTP Request node](/guides/automated-workflows/integrations/builtin/core-nodes/ts-wf-nodes-base.httprequest) to make a [Custom API call](#).

## Prerequisites

Create an [Imperva WAF](https://www.imperva.com/products/web-application-firewall-waf/) account.

## Using API key

To configure this credential, you'll need:

- An **API ID**
- An **API Key**
