# SecurityScorecard credentials

You can use these credentials to authenticate the following nodes with SecurityScorecard.

## Prerequisites

Create a [SecurityScorecard](https://securityscorecard.com/) account.

## Using API

1. Open your SecurityScorecard [dashboard](https://platform.securityscorecard.io/#/home).
2. Click on ***Integrations*** and select 'Get an API Key'.
3. Click on ***Generate new API token***.
4. Click on the ***Confirm*** button.
5. Copy the generated API key.
6. Enter a name for your credentials in the ***Credentials Name*** field in the 'SecurityScorecard API' credentials in Mosaic Workflows.
7. Paste the API key in the ***API Key*** field in the 'Security Scorecard API' credentials in Mosaic Workflows.
8. Click on the ***Create*** button to create your credentials.
