Discover profile fraud

Proceed to Security Insights to identify potential profile-based fraud—cases where the same identity details (for example, full name, date of birth, and gender) appear across different faces.

Upon completing flagged identity checks, Mosaic may report a repeated profile event. Depending on your configuration, the platform can either block the attempt immediately or generate a Security Insight for later review.

When a verification triggers this signal, Mosaic surfaces an insight of type Multi-Sessions Detection: Repeated Profile in Security Insights, whose details (e.g., selfie, ID picture, identity details) can be reviewed in the Verification reports.

This capability helps uncover patterns such as:

  • Synthetic identities reusing or sharing personal attributes
  • Coordinated fraud attempts that apply consistent identity data to different faces
  • Attempts to bypass biometric duplication checks

Combined with repeated face detection, which highlights repeated appearances of the same face with different identity details, repeated profile detection provides a broader view of suspicious cross-session behavior.
