Discover face fraud
Proceed to Security Insights to discover potential synthetic identity fraud—the type of fraud when a person creates multiple fake accounts by manipulating personal data on the documents while reusing their real face.
Upon completing flagged identity checks, Mosaic will report "repeated faces" if the same person tries to pass identity verification several times using different documents with mismatched personal information. Currently, such attempts are denied by default.
For each insight, you can see all verifications attempted by this person within your tenant, with their selfie, document images, and verification result for each verification. From there, you can circle back to the individual verification reports for inspection.
Statuses such as "under investigation", "resolved", and "dismissed" help the analytics team plan the review procedures and keep track of pending tasks.
