## Prerequisites

Create a [monday.com](https://monday.com/) account.

## Authentication

You can authenticate using an access token or OAuth:

* Refer to [Monday Developers | Authentication](https://developer.monday.com/api-reference/docs/authentication) for information on getting your access token.
* Refer to [Monday Developers | OAuth ](https://developer.monday.com/apps/docs/oauth) for more information on setting up OAuth. You need to register a Monday app, and get the client ID and client secret. Give it the scopes boards:write and boards:read.
